യമുനാ എക്സ്പ്രസ്വേ വാഹനാപകടം മഥുരയിൽ ഇന്ന് പുലർച്ചെ നടന്നത് നാല് പേരുടെ മരണത്തിനും 25 പേർക്ക് പരിക്കേൽക്കാനും ഇടയാക്കി. മഥുര ജില്ലയിലെ ബാലദേവ് പ്രദേശത്തിന് സമീപം യമുനാ എക്സ്പ്രസ്വേയിലെ മൈൽസ്റ്റോൺ 127-ൽ പുലർച്ചെ ഏകദേശം 4.30-ഓടെയായിരുന്നു അപകടം. കനത്ത മൂടൽമഞ്ഞ് മൂലം കാഴ്ചപരിമിതി (visibility) കുറഞ്ഞതാണ് അപകടത്തിന് പ്രധാന കാരണമെന്നാണ് ലഭ്യമായ വിവരം.
സംഭവം: 7 ബസുകളും 3 കാറുകളും കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ചു
യമുനാ എക്സ്പ്രസ്വേ വാഹനാപകടം-പോലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരുടെ വിവരമനുസരിച്ച്, ഏഴ് ബസുകളും മൂന്ന് കാറുകളും തമ്മിൽ കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ച ശേഷമാണ് ചില വാഹനങ്ങൾക്ക് തീപിടിത്തം ഉണ്ടായത്. അപകടത്തിൽ 4 പേർ മരണപ്പെടുകയും 25 പേർക്ക് പരിക്കേൽക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. മരിച്ചവരിൽ മൂന്ന് പേർ ബസിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നവരും ഒരാൾ കാറിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നവനുമാണ്.
പരിക്കേറ്റവരുടെ നില
പരിക്കേറ്റവരെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. പരിക്കേറ്റവരിൽ ആരുടെയും നില ഗുരുതരമല്ലെന്ന് മഥുര എസ്.എസ്.പി ശ്ലോക് കുമാർ അറിയിച്ചു.
അപകടത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട വാഹനങ്ങൾ
മഥുര എസ്.പി സുരേഷ് ചന്ദ്ര റാവത്ത് പറയുന്നതനുസരിച്ച്, അപകടത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട ബസുകളിൽ ഒന്ന് സംസ്ഥാന റോഡ്വേസ് ബസും ബാക്കി ആറ് ബസുകൾ സ്വകാര്യ സ്ലീപ്പർ ബസുകളുമാണ്.

യമുനാ എക്സ്പ്രസ്വേ വാഹനാപകടം-അപകട സ്ഥലത്ത് ഏകദേശം 12 ഫയർ എൻജിനുകളും 14 ആംബുലൻസുകളും എത്തി രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തനം നടത്തി. പരിക്കേറ്റവരെ ബാലദേവ് കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി ഹെൽത്ത് സെന്ററിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി.

സംഭവത്തെ തുടർന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി യോഗി ആദിത്യനാഥ് രക്ഷാപ്രവർത്തനത്തിനായി അധിക ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരെ നിയോഗിക്കുകയും, മരിച്ചവരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങൾക്ക് രണ്ട് ലക്ഷം രൂപ വീതം ധനസഹായം നൽകാനും പരിക്കേറ്റവർക്ക് മികച്ച ചികിത്സ ഉറപ്പാക്കാനും നിർദ്ദേശിച്ചതായി റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്നു.

Low visibility due to dense fog triggered a major pile-up on the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura, where seven buses and three cars collided and eventually caught fire. As a result, four people lost their lives, while 25 others sustained injuries. Soon after the crash, fire tenders rushed to the spot and immediately began rescue operations.
The accident occurred at 4:30 am on Tuesday in the Baldev area. Among the four victims, three were travelling in the buses, whereas one was inside the car. Meanwhile, police shifted all injured passengers to the hospital, and doctors later confirmed that none of them are in critical condition.
Furthermore, Mathura SSP Shlok Kumar briefed the media about the situation. Additionally, SP Suresh Chandra Rawat told ANI that one of the vehicles involved was a state roadways bus, while the remaining six were private sleeper buses. Fortunately, firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control within a short time.
According to an eyewitness, the vehicles caught fire around 4 am. He added that he was asleep when the accident happened and that the bus was fully occupied.
Soon after receiving information, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the incident and immediately dispatched additional rescue teams to the location.
Moreover, he announced an ex gratia of ₹2 lakh for the families of the deceased and instructed officials to ensure the best possible medical care for the injured.
In addition to this, twelve fire tenders and fourteen ambulances reached the spot and transported the injured to the Baldev Community Health Centre. Authorities also pointed out that similar accidents frequently occur during winter because visibility remains extremely low.
